dear Backers,

I've started generating the first digital files of the cards, as you can see on my instagram feed (beware, there is a lot of Skyrim shots), and my assistant is in charge of creating the digital downloads of the PDF files.

you will received an email notification from "govy" [email protected] once your digital file is ready to download.

please be sure to check the file and make sure you entered the correct date & event, as there is still time to make some changes, in case of errors.

a note on the long event titles, I take the arbitrary decision to add a few breaklines (see image sample below) in order to fit the card size. so, if you'd like me to re-arrange the text field, let me know asap via KS messaging or [email protected]

the PDF files also retain their editable function, meaning you can actually open them in Illustrator or such, and replace the text yourself or change the size, add colors, etc...

lastly, I want to remind you that the digital files are meant for personal use only and no commercial use is permitted.

Hello Backers!

my great dev finished working on the scripts to generate the card designs. I've set the Pluto design size on 35 mm even though I will ask you for a definitive vote later on for the 3D printed Mementos (the Pluto prototypes are waiting for me in Japan and I'm still currently in France).

anyway, I'll try to give every backer, who filled their survey, the digital file before the end of the year.

but if you need the file before Xmas or NYE, please get in touch with me and I'll make sure to give you the digital file asap.

you should get an email from BackerKit very soon with a link to the survey.

If you pledged extra money during the campaign for add-ons (size upgrade, multiple mementos), your extra funds will be converted to credits, which you can spend on the size option, add-ons or switch to another pledge level.

If you are uncertain of your date (future wedding, expecting a birth) then please fill out the date field with "TBD" or something like that, so I know your reward will be put on hold. (please remember your might not get the printed collectible card if no date is given before the end of the year, refer to the FAQ).

if you didn't get the BackerKit email, please be sure to check your spam folder. you can also connect directly to https://memento.backerkit.com and login with your Kickstarter email.

if you have any issue with your pledge or the survey, please feel free to contact the support: https://memento.backerkit.com/faq#contact-us

the survey's deadline is set to December 25, so I can get a clear figure of the Mementos materials needed asap.

add-ons and pre-orders will still be available after the deadline and until the official public launch in mid 2017, but they might not come with a printed collectible card (again refer to the FAQ).

if you need the digital file of the card asap (for the end of the year celebrations) please let me know via a KS message or [email protected]

same goes for the 3D printed Mementos, the estimated delivery date is around April 2017, but if you need your reward for a precise date (birthday or anniversary), let me know, and I'll try my best to fulfil your reward asap!

Square Off - World’s Smartest Chess Board

I got an electronic chess board when I was a kid, 25 years ago (sigh..) and I could play against it but it would always bug haha. so not nearly as cool as this one! 

Square Off is a tangible chess board on which you can play against the computer (where the AI can think on it's own) or against a friend sitting anywhere across the globe via the internet. The opponent can play on the App OR on his own Square Off board as well. When you are playing on the Square Off board the opponents move are completely automated, the opponent can be the AI or your friend sitting somewhere else.

Upgrades & Survey

I got a lot of messages about last minute upgrades, do not worry, you'll be able to upgrade via BackerKit (and add extra stuff as well) once you fill out the survey.

I'll be working on it during the next few days and will be waiting for all the pledges to be secured (Kickstarter always give 7 days to backers to fix any payment issue). Some time next week, I'll send out the survey via BackerKit to your email.

Reminder

Also, keep in mind that your collectible card might not be printed if you fail to provide your date before the BackerKit survey deadline (which I'll set for the end of year). As the minimum quantity at our printer is 50 cards, you will receive a digital version of the card instead. A new batch of cards can be printed and sent once the number of backers on hold exceeds 50.

Pluto Version Pricing

Hi guys!

here's the long awaited pricing for the Pluto add-on! I've placed an order at Shapeways of my 33.5 mm and 35 mm Pluto models, but I won't get them until early December. 

we will all decide together on the final size then. but as the pricing will be the same whenever we go with 33.5 or 35, I guess most of you would want to go for the 35 mm version. 

the prices listed below are for each size/version. so if you want a Plastic Pluto version you have to pledge $35 total (without shipping).
